From seasoned massage therapists to intuitive holistic practitioners, our team at Natural Therapeutics Wellness Center brings decades of experience and genuine care to every session. Founded by Debbie Pomeroy in 1989, and now mother-daughter owned, the studio has always prioritized healing hands and warm hearts.
Each team member is dedicated to understanding your unique needs—whether you’re seeking relief from pain, a moment of calm, or skin that glows. From deep-tissue techniques, lymphatic and sports massage to Reiki, craniosacral therapy, and tailored facials, the staff stays ahead with advanced training and holistic tools.

Our Team
Sue Gummo
Suzy’s passion for massage therapy dates back to when she was just three years old. She learned the art of giving a massage while watching her mother attend massage school.
It was only natural that, when she was old enough, Suzy became a massage therapist. And today she’s owner of Natural Therapeutics Wellness Center. “Since then every day has been a joyous learning experience,” she says.
Suzy has a large depth and breadth of experience in wellness. Her first professional massage work was with horses and dogs, and she first completed a certification in Equine/Canine Sports massage in 2003. She graduated from the Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in 2005, and started practicing the following year.
Suzy is also certified in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute, the premier education organization for CST.
Besides being an expert massage therapist, Suzy became a Reiki Master in 2013. She is also a Reiki teacher.

Debbie Pomeroy
Debbie opened Natural Therapeutics after she graduated from Lakeside School of Massage in 1989. She was a pioneer of massage and the first licensed massage therapist in the West Bend area.
Debbie has always believed that natural homeopathy is necessary for health. As she says, “We will always need western medicine, but give your body a chance to heal itself first–with a little help from healing hands!”
She is also a Reiki Master and is skilled in craniosacral therapy and reflexology. Her intuitive nature goes a long way toward natural healing for her clients. She also practices holistic psychology. “We have a lot of tools, because you never know what a client will need,” she says.
After owning and running Natural Therapeutics wellness for years, she has stepped down and let Suzy take over.

Rob Behncke
Rob has been a massage therapy and bodywork professional since 1998. He’s an expert in myofascial release, reflexology, and orthopedic massage.
Rob has worked with clients of all kinds, from NFL players to veterans with PTSD, cancer patients and professional dancers.
He values every person and says his goal is, “to listen to their needs, and offer both skilled massage therapy and
compassionate wellness care to my clients in a safe space.”
Over the course of his career, Rob has learned to integrate care to treat the whole person.
After having more experiences with those struggling to manage depression, anxiety and even PTSD to varying degrees, Rob knows the value of offering healing intent and a quiet, respectful space for his clients.
Jason Hunter
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Jason discovered the transformative power of energy work early in life through his deep connection with horses.
His passion led him to study Tai Chi and Qigong extensively from 1996 to 2002 while living in Hawaii, laying the foundation for a holistic approach to healing.
In 2009, Jason graduated from Everest Institute with a degree in massage therapy. Over the next five years, he honed his craft by integrating energy work with massage, creating a unique and deeply restorative experience for his clients
.
After relocating to Wisconsin in 2016, Jason practiced at Healing Hands until its closure in 2020.
Since 2017, he has expanded his practice to include both hhumans and their beloved pets, offering intuitive, compassionate care that bridges physical and energetic healing.
Anne Toshner
Anne Toshner is a licensed massage therapist and certified cupping practitioner with a passion for helping clients move, feel, and live better.
A graduate of the Wisconsin School of Massage Therapy in Germantown, WI, Anne brings both skill and heart to every session she provides.
Specializing in cupping therapy, Anne uses a range of techniques to promote healing, improve mobility, and reduce pain. Her other modalities include sports massage, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage, and chair massage, allowing her to tailor each treatment to her client’s unique needs.
Anne has had the privilege of working with professional athletes, helping them recover faster and perform at their best — but she’s just as dedicated to supporting anyone seeking relief from everyday tension or chronic discomfort.
When she’s not in the treatment room, Anne enjoys spending time with her dog, playing soccer, and hitting the pickleball court. Her active lifestyle and love of movement inspire her commitment to helping others feel their best both on and off the field.
Maxine Kafura
Passionate licensed esthetician with 6+ years of experience. I love helping people feel confident in their own skin through personalized treatments, real results that you can see.
I enjoy educating you on each step I will be performing to make you feel comfortable, cared for and confident.

Debi Whitaker
Debi is a Board-Certified Massage Therapist, practicing since 2012 in both Florida and Wisconsin.
She incorporates a blend of Eastern and Western techniques to enhance every session, creating a deeply therapeutic and restorative experience for her clients.
Her professional background includes working with the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team and providing corporate chair massage for a variety of organizations.
We are thrilled to have Debi as part of the Natural Therapeutics Wellness team.
